Camogli is a small village in Liguria, Italy. You can visit It in one hour, yes It is that small! You don’ t want to miss It  if You’re around Genoa. It offers a very romantic and poetic scenery and It is quite nice to walk around  eating “gelato” . Sintra

April 9, 2014 // 2 Comments

Ok, here’s the thing about Sintra : I found out about this wonderful place looking at my Spanish host mum’s pictures (thanks again Marta). I saw the beautiful colours of the buildings and thought ” I MUST GO THERE”. I was very excited about It but….apparently I wasn’t supposed to see the bright colours 🙁  infact I visited Sintra on a very FOGGY DAY!     (I was so mad!!!). Not only It was foggy but It was also raining!

Porto, the birthplace of Port wine – Porto, la città dove viene prodotto il celebre vino Porto

March 27, 2014 // 0 Comments

I went to Porto by bus, I left Ourense (Galicia) quite early in the morning, about 5 am , I then stopped in Vigo to wait for the other bus and eventually got to Porto by 10.30 am. I was so excited, It was a beautiful day and I remember feeling very happy. I was on my own and I was ok, I just loved taking pictures and looking at everything.

LISBON

March 20, 2014 // 0 Comments

I love Portugal, It is one of my favourite countries so far . I like It because everything is very small : no big cities, no big parks, all the places are super cute and people are very friendly .  Plus the food is very good. I’ ve always wanted to hire a car and travel across the whole country , I haven’ t done It yet but I got the chance to visit Porto, Sintra and Lisboa and I absolutely loved them!

March 13, 2014 // 0 Comments

Oviedo is the capital principality of Asturia in northern Spain . I spent just 2 days in the city and I feel like I should go back to live the atmosphere better. I felt the same way I did in Santiago de Compostela. They’re both charming cities, full of history and very alive. I use the word “alive” because there’s no way You can be bored when You ‘re visiting them. There are a lot of people  drinking on the street, nice parks where You can have a walk, busy restaurants….

Cudillero

March 6, 2014 // 0 Comments

At the end of my journey in Galicia, my host family asked me to make a chart of the places They made me visit… It turned out I really liked Cudillero .Carlos, my host dad, didn’t agree with that at all. He couldn’t understand how I could put Cudillero in one of the first positions. The thing is that I DO LOVE SMALL TOWNS, It might be because I grew up in a very tiny village where there’s nothing but banks and restaurants (no, I am not kidding, Carasco has 3 banks and 6 restaurants, and that’s all We have). I am not saying that I would live in small town but if I’m traveling I’d rather see a cute tiny and  distinguishing village instead of […]

ALLARIZ, Galicia

March 6, 2014 // 0 Comments

Allariz is a small village surrounded by chestnut trees , close to Ourense . It’ s not a must if You’re in Spain, but You might wanna visit It If You’ re close to Ourense. It’s very small so It’ s not going […]

Amazing Playa de las Catedrales – Meravigliosa Playa de las Catedrales

March 1, 2014 // 0 Comments

La ” Playa de las Catedrales ”  which would be”  Beach of the Cathedrals ” is one of the best beaches I have ever seen . It’ s called that because of Its natural archs and caves which can only be seen at low tide . European people usually think that places like this can only be found in Australia or South America but the truth is that We do have wonderful landscapes. I am so glad my Spanish host family made me realize how beautiful Europe is (THANKS Marta & Carlos).
