I am talking about Kawah Ijen which is the most amazing thing I have ever experienced. Kawah Ijen is an active volcano that last erupted in 1999, it is popular for its blue flames but there’s so much more to see. I spent my second day in Yogyakarta visiting the Prambanan temple with my new friend Matteo. I forgot to tell you that the day before, when Matteo and me went to Malioboro street by jeca, the driver of the jeca wanted to take us to a shop of marionettes, he was insisting so much that we told him we would go the day after. THE MONKEY FOREST

The second day I was in Ubud, I decided to visit the Monkey Forest. I had heard horrible stories about monkeys jumping on people ‘s back, biting them and stealing sparkling things from them and I was kind of worried. I took off all of my bracelets and earring ( and people that know me know I never take them off because they’re too many) and walked to the forest. The entrance was 30.000 Rpe and You can actually see the monkeys even before getting into the forest because they walk around the street looking for food.
