Kuala Lumpur

September 4, 2015 // 0 Comments

🇬🇧English  🇮🇹Italiano 🇬🇧 What can I say about Kuala Lumpur, also called KL? It was beyond my expectations! As I wrote in my previous post I flew to Malaysia only because I found a cheap flight, few backpackers that had traveled there told me it was not anything special. Well, I am glad I didn’t pay too much attention to their opinions! 🇮🇹Cosa posso raccontarvi su Kuala Lumpur, chiamata KL dai suoi abitanti?

LEAVING AUSTRALIA,WHAT’S NEXT?

February 18, 2015 // 0 Comments

Here I am after a long time… I took a break to think about my future and what I want to do with my life, It hasn’t been that useful because I am still confused, maybe even more than before! Here’s a short summary of what happened to me in the last two months: As some of You know, I was in Sydney working as an au pair and a waitress, I spent Christmas and New year’s Eve there and I left the 7th of January for a new adventure in the outback of Australia. I am going to tell you all about it in my next post, let’s just say It was a unique, beautiful and kind of dramatic experience! Four days after I […]

Sintra

April 9, 2014 // 2 Comments

Ok, here’s the thing about Sintra : I found out about this wonderful place looking at my Spanish host mum’s pictures (thanks again Marta). I saw the beautiful colours of the buildings and thought ” I MUST GO THERE”. I was very excited about It but….apparently I wasn’t supposed to see the bright colours 🙁  infact I visited Sintra on a very FOGGY DAY!     (I was so mad!!!). Not only It was foggy but It was also raining!

LISBON

March 20, 2014 // 0 Comments

I love Portugal, It is one of my favourite countries so far . I like It because everything is very small : no big cities, no big parks, all the places are super cute and people are very friendly .  Plus the food is very good. I’ ve always wanted to hire a car and travel across the whole country , I haven’ t done It yet but I got the chance to visit Porto, Sintra and Lisboa and I absolutely loved them!

Cudillero

March 6, 2014 // 0 Comments

At the end of my journey in Galicia, my host family asked me to make a chart of the places They made me visit… It turned out I really liked Cudillero .Carlos, my host dad, didn’t agree with that at all. He couldn’t understand how I could put Cudillero in one of the first positions. The thing is that I DO LOVE SMALL TOWNS, It might be because I grew up in a very tiny village where there’s nothing but banks and restaurants (no, I am not kidding, Carasco has 3 banks and 6 restaurants, and that’s all We have). I am not saying that I would live in small town but if I’m traveling I’d rather see a cute tiny and  distinguishing village instead of […]

February 15, 2014 // 0 Comments

My spanish host family was awesome, They took me to the best places in Galicia and made live their culture every single day! I would have never seen this wonderful place without them and I am so grateful! If You’re in Galicia You can’t miss one of the best view this wonderful region offers. You need to go to the most southerly coastal town : A Guarda , and then go up to Santa Tecla […]

Venice is like eating an entire box of chocolate liqueurs in one go – Venezia è come mangiare un’intera scatola di cioccolatini al liquore in una sola volta

February 12, 2014 // 0 Comments

” Venice is like eating an entire box of chocolate liqueurs in one go. “ (Truman Capota) Venice is the city where You literally  can dream with Your eyes opened . As Thomas Mann says ” It’ s half fairy tale and half tourist trap “, It gets to Your heart and It stays forever .  Venice is art, art made by men and by nature ; Its sky shows the best sunsets I have ever seen so far . You can do nothing but stare at such a beautiful city. “Venezia è come mangiare un’intera scatola di cioccolatini al liquore in una sola volta.”(Truman Capota) Venezia come ho già scritto è la città dove si può sognare ancora, metà fiaba e metà trappola come dice Thomas […]
