Tim and I had a quick shower and went to the kitchen of the hostel to have breakfast, as in a lot of hostels in Asia, breakfast was toast with butter but we also tried the popular coconut jam called Kaya. I wasn’t sure whether to go to Myanmar or straight to Thailand but when I checked the flights fairs I realised going to Malaysia would have been way cheaper. I booked a flight to Kuala Lumpur and left Indonesia 2 days later! WELCOME TO MALAYSIA!!! I am talking about Kawah Ijen which is the most amazing thing I have ever experienced. I love kids, that’s why I enjoy to be an au pair so much, I really wanted to go to a school while I was in Bali, I just didn’t know how to get in one. The manager of the hostel where I was staying suggested me to just go to the local school and talk to the main teacher and ask him if I could teach English to the kids for a couple of hours. I did it and everyone was so happy to have someone to help the kids improving, Indonesian people are very curious about us, they love getting into contact with us, especially if we can teach them something good.
